The Paxtonville UMC is a part of the United Methodist Church.
The Paxtonville United Methodist Church is a part of the Susquehanna Conference of the United Methodist Church which is lead by Bishops Cynthia Moore-Koikoi and Sandra Steiner Ball. The Conference in broken down into districts and PUMC is a part of the Lewisburg District. The district superintendent for Lewisburg is Rev. Dr. Gary Weaver.
Mission Central is the site in Mechanicsburg where many projects of mission have a home. One project is being a site for collection and processing of UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) kits. Our HUB at Paxtonville is one of 34 HUBS that feeds kits and materials for kits into Mission Central. Volunteers donate, process, assemble and transport cleaning buckets, school kits, health kits, sewing kits, layette kits, birthing kits and bedding kits from the Lewisburg District to Mechanicsburg. From there they may be used locally, nationally or globally. This is a two way distribution. If we would have a need here in the Lewisburg District we could get kits to distribute to help our area.
